MMR Group, Inc. Ranked Ninth Largest Electrical Contractor in U.S. by Engineering-News Record

MMR Group, Inc. is recognized by Engineering News-Record as the 9th largest electrical contractor in the nation. This marks the 30th consecutive year that MMR has made the list, further positioning the company as an industry leader.
MMR is the sixth largest electrical contractor in the nation for the second consecutive year. The impressive ranking is based on annual revenue earned, which totaled $650 million in 2017.
The MMR Corpus Christi Branch received several notable awards at the 26th Annual South Texas Industrial Industry Awards Banquet at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center.
MMR received a multiple-locations Outstanding Safety Performance Award for the best performance during 2017 among the companies classified as Specialty Contractors with 100,000 to 500,000 work hours.
For his efforts to the LSU College of Engineering, James B. “Pepper” Rutland was inducted into the Louisiana State University (LSU) College of Engineering Hall of Distinction.
In conjunction with the LSU College of Engineering, MMR hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the MMR Building Simulation and Information Modeling (BIM) Construction Management Studio and MMR Advanced Materials and Methods Laboratory.
MMR is proud to announce that several of its employees have been recognized for exemplary safety actions on the SASOL LCCP Mega Project in Westlake, La.
MMR earned national distinction at the 28th annual Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction awards program.
MMR recently established several new learning facilities at Patrick F. Taylor Hall on Louisiana State University’s (LSU) campus. The facilities are the result of MMR’s $1 million donation to the Construction Management Program.
BASF recognized MMR for zero recordable incidents at their Geismar, La. site in 2017. This is the third consecutive year MMR has been honored for such an important safety achievement.
