MMR President/CEO Featured in 10/12 Industry Report: How MMR tackled its workforce challenge

BATON ROUGE, La. – MMR President and CEO James “Pepper” Rutland was featured in the 10/12 Industry Report this month discussing the industry-wide epidemic of craft labor shortages and how MMR has worked to overcome these hurdles with its proactive approach to workforce development and initiatives through the MMR Craft Training Center.

“It pays to be proactive,” Rutland says, “and it pays to invest in your employees. The lack of qualified craftsmen is a major hurdle our industry is facing. In order to meet the demands of our clients and continue our commitment to providing the safest, most knowledgeable craft, we knew something had to be done.”
