MMR Ranked Fifth Largest Electrical Contractor in U.S. by Engineering-News Record

MMR Group, Inc. is recognized by Engineering News-Record as the 5th largest electrical contractor in the nation. This marks the 31st consecutive year that MMR has made the list, further positioning the company as an industry leader.

MMR recognized Project Engineer Landon Roussa (15 years), Estimator Scott Alexander (14 years), Estimator Ryan Ray (14 years) and Estimating Manager Danny Vergeson (13 years, not pictured) for their years of service at the annual MMR Christmas Party held on December 13, 2019.

MMR is the eighth largest electrical contractor in the nation according to Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) prestigious annual rankings. ENR positions contractors by their revenue earned from the previous year, MMR revenues totaling $802 million in 2018.
MMR was recognized at the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Greater Houston Chapter Awards of Excellence. The Beaumont district received the ICE Award in the Specialty Contractor Projects – Electrical category for the Ethylene Plant Restart Project at Indorama Ventures Olefins LLC in Westlake, LA. ABC recognizes outstanding projects in the commercial and industrial industry at this event.
According to a recent report released by Electrical Construction and Maintenance Magazine (EC&M, MMR is the eighth largest electrical contractor in the nation.
The GBRIA awards program recognizes contractors who invest in workforce development programs that include recruitment, assessment, training, career path development and retention of employees.
The management of Sasol commended MMR’s outstanding safety execution efforts and it's employee's working on the MIC and Paga Projcts at its safety luncheon.
MMR staff worked to spark student interest in the construction field and educated them of the benefits of a career in skilled trades - emphasizing good pay and benefits at the Hammons Employment Leadership Program.
MMR was one of the first companies to participate in Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center’s Prevention on the Go – Workplace program, which brings early detection prevention, education and screenings to worksites.
