MMR announced it has achieved Diamond in the Associated Builders and Contractor’s STEP safety management system. Founded in 1989, STEP participation demonstrates safety leadership and a cultural commitment to safety performance.

MMR, the largest open-shop electrical and instrumentation contractor in the United States, is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website and company videos. The website features a modern design, improved functionality and easy navigation, allowing users to learn valuable information about the company and its experience in the industrial construction industry.

MMR held a March Madness Campaign in support of cancer awareness, prevention and detection and the efforts of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. During the month of March, employees participated in several activities to bring awareness to skin cancer and support the Center’s mission, including a skin cancer seminar, a skin cancer screening and employee/company fundraising.

MMR is proud to announce its prestigious designation on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Top Performers List, garnering first place as the top-performing electrical contractor in the nation and third place overall on the U.S. commercial and industrial construction industry list of top performers.

MMR was again named Sasol’s “Safe Crew of the Week” for their dedication to teamwork and care for MMR’s safety culture on the Sasol LCCP Mega Project in Westlake, La.

MMR supported the efforts of the Red Cross in the rural community of Rioverde, Esmeraldas – Ecuador through the donation of computers. Rioverde is a Canton of the province of Esmeraldas, where approximately 82 percent of the population lives in poverty.

MMR earned the top position as the largest electrical contractor in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas, according to the industry rankings released by Engineering News-Record of Texas and Louisiana (ENR).

MMR offered oral cancer screenings and tobacco cessation counseling to their employees at Baton Rouge Headquarters through the partnership with Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center’s Prevention on the Go – Workplace Program.
