Southwestern Power Group

Southwestern Power Group (SWPG) develops utility-scale electric generation and transmission assets in the desert southwest market. SWPG has a record of successful development including Arizona’s largest natural gas combined cycle plant - the 2,200 MW Panda Gila River Generating Station.

In business since the late 1990’s, SWPG has experience in all generation technologies and relationships with all regional utilities. In addition, SWPG is a member of the WECC and WestConnect, and is active in various regional transmission planning groups.

SWPG is not a long-term owner of assets and frequently partners with IPPs on development projects.

SunZia Southwest Transmission Project

The SunZia Southwest Transmission Project consists of two bi-directional, extra-high voltage electric transmission lines and substations that will transport energy from Arizona and New Mexico to customers and markets across the Desert Southwest.

MMR Power Solutions develops, owns and operates on-site energy facilities using cogeneration, solar and/or energy storage to more cost-effectively and reliably meet the energy needs of large commercial and industrial customers.
