BATON ROUGE, LA – MMR is proud to share that it was highlighted as a corporate leader in providing cancer care services to its employees and community by the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC). “Knowing Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center’s outstanding reputation within our community, and the fact that the program aligned with our company’s mission to provide enhanced healthcare benefits to employees, MMR became an early supporter of the On-the-Go Workplace Program,” said Leach. “Over the last five years, over 630 of our employees have been screened for skin, breast and oral cancers, with an astonishing 55% who reported they had never received a screening before. The On-the-Go Workplace Program saves lives.”
