June 24, 2019

BATON ROUGE, La. – High school students from BASF’s TECH Academy visited MMR’s campus to tour the Craft Training Center and learn about electrical and instrumentation construction. BASF’s TECH Academy is a free, week-long educational program conducted during the summer and is sponsored by BASF in coordination with River Parishes Community College (RPCC).

Through the program, students gain exposure to a variety of crafts within the technical realm. The students left the MMR Craft Training Center with a better understanding of how technical jobs are vital to our company’s operations.

In-order to be qualified for the program, students must complete an essay that is part of the application, have a 3.5 GPA or higher, and attend a school in Ascension Parish.
