MMR Receives Highest Honors at ABC Greater Houston Chapter Awards of Excellence

MMR was recognized at the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Greater Houston Chapter Awards of Excellence. The Beaumont district received the ICE Award in the Specialty Contractor Projects – Electrical category for the Ethylene Plant Restart Project at Indorama Ventures Olefins LLC in Westlake, LA. ABC recognizes outstanding projects in the commercial and industrial industry at this event.

ABC Excellence in Construction Awards are judged on safety, quality, ingenuity and workmanship. The Ethylene Plant Restart Project consisted of the complete revamp of the mothballed ethane cracker. The plant was idled in 2001 and sustained damage during several hurricanes. Over 433,000 electrical and instrumentation work-hours were spent on the multi-year project.
