MMR Craft Training Center Receives Final NCCER Accreditation

May 11, 2017

BATON ROUGE, La. – MMR announced that its Craft Training Center has received final NCCER accreditation after successfully completing a thorough audit of its training and assessment programs. NCCER is the accrediting body for the industry and its process assures that craft professionals receive quality training based on uniform standards and criteria.

“We are proud to be accredited by NCCER for our innovative craft training program,” said MMR President and CEO James “Pepper” Rutland. “NCCER accreditation gives our clients an extra layer of confidence in the quality of personnel and work product they’ve come to expect from MMR.”

MMR established the Craft Training Center in 2014 to propel its certified craftsmen ahead of the projected industry manpower shortages. The 15,000 square-foot-facility features a state-of-the-art classroom and 29 work stations where craftsmen experience hands-on training and evaluation of their electrical and instrumentation knowledge and skills.
