MMR Continues to Expand Its Baton Rouge Headquarters, Launches an Integration and Panel Center
March 28, 2016
BATON ROUGE, La. MMR announced that it will now provide panel fabrication and integration capabilities through the addition of a new Integration and Panel Center at its Baton Rouge, La. campus. The center will allow MMR to construct industrialized control buildings, custom control panels, analyzer sample systems and analyzer shelters for a wide variety of clients in need of industrial instrumentation and electrical services.
Construction is underway on a 30,000 square-foot center at MMRs home office complex and is scheduled to be complete in late 2016. Current operations are being performed at an existing site on location under the direction of new MMR Integration and Panel Center District Manager Brian Savoy.
We are excited to be open for business, said Savoy. Building or fabricating a custom panel or industrialized building to suit clients needs is a vital part of our overall commitment to providing the very best, comprehensive service at MMR.
Construction of the MMR Integration and Panel Center begins on the heels of the completion of a new Wellness Center at the Baton Rouge campus. The Wellness Center, which opened in early 2016, promotes a healthier lifestyle in a convenient setting for active home office employees by offering a full-scale basketball court, weight training and exercise room, and instructor-led boot camp classes.
Additionally, in early 2016, MMR purchased the assets and operations of Vector Electric and Controls, Inc. (Vector) to expand the companys outreach into the agricultural/farming community. This move enhances MMRs already diverse list of clients in oil and gas production, pulp, paper and forest products, power generation, petroleum refining, chemical processing, food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, metals and minerals, waste and water treatment and pharmaceuticals.
This is an exciting time for MMR, said MMR President and CEO James Pepper Rutland. We look forward to expanding our business opportunities both geographically and by industry.
