Black Hills Energy Cheyenne Light Fuel & Power
Cheyenne, WY
The Black Hills Cheyenne Prairie Power Project, a joint venture with Cheyenne Light, constructed three natural gas fire turbines with a total capacity of 132 megawatts of power to provide reliable, cost-effective electricity service for up to 100,000 household residents and protect customers from energy cost volatility in Cheyenne, WY. MMR installed all electrical components and performed integration of all electrical systems for this project.
Power Generation
Kinder Morgan Elba Island 35Kv and 15Kv Project
Savannah, GA
MMR performed electrical and instrumentation services, telecommunications, start-up and commissioning assistance on this $110 million mega project. The scope of services included 1.5 million feet of 35 and 15kv armored cable, 60 each 35kv phisterer plug terminations, 60 each 35kv stress cone terms, and 288 each 15 kv stress cone terms. MMR also provided turn-key telecommunications system design, installation and commissioning.

Shell Canada Limited Albian Oil Sands Energy Expansion Project
Alberta Oil Sands, Canada
MMR received highest honors on the Albian Oil Sands Energy Expansion Project with the Shell Vice President’s Safety Award for completing 1 million work-hours incident free. Construction was completed in 30 months with 725 employees on site. MMR's scope of work included performing constructability reviews, pre-planning activities, development of commissioning procedures with Shell's team, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up assistance.

NSC Procter & Gamble Tissue Machine Plant
Cape Girardeau, MO
MMR performed electrical and instrumentation for one of the largest Procter & Gamble plants in the United States. MMR's scope of work included grounding, conduit, cable, cable tray, lighting, instrument installation and loop check.

GE/Entergy Perryville Blackstart Energy Storage System
Sterlington, LA
MMR partnered with GE Grid Solutions to provide electrical construction and instrumentation services for this 6.4MWh energy storage system, which provides blackstart operation at Entergy’s Perryville CCGT power plant in Sterlington, LA.

Chevron Big Foot Production Platform
Gulf of Mexico
MMR received several ABC Excellence in Construction awards for the Chevron Big Foot Platform Topsides Project. Big Foot is the largest tension leg oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. MMR’s work included installing 1.7 million feet of cable, 119 thousand feet of tubing and approximately 55 thousand field terminations.
