MMR welcomes new Craft Training Coordinator and Master Instructor

MMR is pleased to welcome Richard Sanders as the Craft Training Coordinator and Master Instructor of the new training center at its headquarters in Baton Rouge, La.
I am excited to join the team and look forward working with MMR craftsmen to meet their training needs, said Sanders.
With nearly 50 years of industry experience in training and safety, Sanders will enhance MMRs efforts to deliver a first-class training facility where craft personnel can receive NCCER Assessment, NCCER Plus Certification and MMR Certification.
Sanders background includes extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation training. He has received numerous training and safety accreditations, including being certified to teach 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA construction classes as well as CPR and blood borne pathogen classes. Sanders has also earned the titles of NCCER Master Trainer and OSHA 500 Instructor.
MMRs 15,000-square-foot training center features a state-of-the-art classroom and nearly 30 workstations where craftsmen will receive instruction and hands-on training and assessment of their electrical and instrumentation knowledge and skills. The center is expected host an estimated 250 personnel during its first year of operation.
