MMR Receives Safety Award at Chevron Salt Lake City Site

BATON ROUGE, La. – MMR received the Gold Award for completing nearly 30,000 hours of turnaround work without an OSHA recordable incident or days away from work injury at the Chevron Salt Lake City Site in 2020.

“Being recognized by Chevron for our commitment to safety is an honor,” said MMR President/CEO James “Pepper” Rutland. “Receiving this award demonstrates MMR’s continued efforts to implement safe work practices throughout our organization.”

MMR’s scope of work included installing conduit and supports, wire pulls to motors, start-stop stations, junctions boxes, instruments, RIE buildings, and control rooms, installation of tubing for instruments, valves and analyzers, point-to-point and loop checks with the client as well as quality control packages. Instrumentation calibration and final commissioning with Chevron personnel also took place.
