MMR Honored with Louisiana Performance Excellence Award

BATON ROUGE, La. MMR was honored with the 2015 Louisiana Performance Challenge Award (Level 1) presented by the Louisiana Quality Foundation, Louisiana Economic Development and the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association at a ceremony held at the Governors Mansion in Baton Rouge, La., on June 7, 2016,

The MMR Quality Department would like to thank the State of Louisiana and its partners for recognizing our commitment to excellence and presenting us with this distinguished award, said Chris Scheumack, Corporate Quality Manager.

The Louisiana Performance Excellence Award Program recognizes performance excellence leadership in both profit and non-profit Louisiana organizations in the areas of manufacturing, service, health care, education, and the public sector. MMRs Quality Department was honored with the Louisiana Performance Challenge Award (Level 1) for demonstrating achievement of award criteria benchmarks that align with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria, an internationally recognized standard for performance excellence initiated in 1987. Applicants were required to submit a written application that is reviewed by a panel of Louisiana Performance Excellence Award (LPEA) examiners and judges.
