MMR Employees Raise Funds in Support of M.D. Anderson Cancer Research
MMR employees Jeremy Bruser (Beaumont, TX) and Adam Philippi (Corpus Christi, TX) championed raising $37 thousand dollars in support of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Their efforts were a part of a business class project through Louisiana State Universitys (LSU) Executive Education Program. The fundraising effort established a new record for the Executive Education Program.
A check presentation was held at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in May 2015. Bruser (pictured left) presented the check to Dr. Gary L. Clayman, D.M.D., M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Clayman is the Alando J. Ballantyne Distinguished Chair of Head and Neck Surgery and Professor of Surgery in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He also serves as the Director of the head and neck cancer program as well as Deputy Head of the Division of Surgery for academics at the Center.
Cancer research is a critically important cause at MMR as the disease affects so many families within the MMR organization. Bruser and Philippi would like to thank all of those who supported their efforts, including friends, family, colleagues and vendors of MMR.
