MMR Employees Participate in Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, Donate Gifts to Local Underprivileged Children
December 6, 2021
BATON ROUGE, La.—Employees at MMR headquarters provided Christmas gifts to over 60 underprivileged children in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas by participating in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.
MMR employees have participated in the Angel Tree Program for seven years, each year promoting kindness and generosity throughout the Baton Rouge community. By adopting an “angel,” employees were provided with a local child’s first name, age, gender, clothing sizes and items they would like or need. Employees then purchased clothing and gifts for their “angel” to receive for Christmas.
MMR greatly appreciates the generosity of its employees who filled Santa sacks with each child’s wants and needs list, which included games, toys, clothing and much more. MMR is proud to employ individuals who actively support our community.
The Salvation Army Baton Rouge serves East and West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Iberville, Livingston, East and West Feliciana, Point Coupee, Saint Helena and Saint James parishes. For more information about The Salvation Army Baton Rouge, please visit its website.
