MMR Recognizes Employees for Dedicated Service

At this year’s annual Christmas party, MMR had the privilege of honoring and awarding several employees for their dedicated years of service. MMR President and CEO James B. ‘Pepper’ Rutland recognized Keith Carter, Project Estimator, (19 years); Gary Carter, Regional District Manager (20 years); Jeffrey Starks, Project Manager (16 years); Stuart Forrestier, District Manager (17 years); Tiffany Marquiss, Corporate Quality Operations Manager (18 years); and Leonor Schroeder, P/R Tax & Insurance (15 years). 

“Here at MMR, we believe our employees’ success is by far our greatest achievement,” said Rutland. “With their determination, commitment and drive to succeed for over a decade, we are able to continue building on a tradition of success together now and in the future.”

In addition to honoring longstanding employees, MMR also recognized and congratulated Leeland Kilpatrick on his retirement. Kilpatrick has worked for MMR since its inception in 1991 starting as a Project Manager and concluding his career as Senior Vice President. During his time at MMR, Kilpatrick was responsible for various special projects involving the Oil & Gas Group Operations in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Corpus Christi. He also oversaw E&I construction operations in New Orleans, Lafayette, Odessa, Corpus Christi, and South Pointe. 

Following the ceremony, MMR employees enjoyed a fantastic night filled with dancing to live music, socializing with friends, and enjoying delicious foods to celebrate their hard work throughout the year. MMR celebrated 33 years in the Capital Region in 2024, attributing its success to its dedicated workforce, outstanding performance across all operations and commitment to serving the local community.
