MMR Employees Join The Salvation Army Baton Rouge in Granting Christmas Wish Lists
December 9, 2022
BATON ROUGE, La.—MMR employees joined The Salvation Army Baton Rouge in brightening Christmas for children in the Greater Baton Rouge area through its Angel Tree Program. By adopting “angels,” employees gifted toys, clothing or special-needs items to local children for Christmas.
Angel Tree provides Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in Baton Rouge and its surrounding areas every year. Once a child has been registered and accepted as an “angel,” their Christmas wish list is shared with donors who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are then distributed to the family in time for Christmas.
MMR values the kindness and consideration of its employees who generously filled Santa sacks with games, dolls, clothing and toys for their “angels.” After gathering Santa sacks from each building at its headquarters, MMR delivered the gifts to The Salvation Army of Baton Rouge.
The Salvation Army Baton Rouge serves East and West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Iberville, Livingston, East and West Feliciana, Pointe Coupee, Saint Helena and Saint James parishes. For more information about The Salvation Army Baton Rouge, please visit its website.
