MMR University

MMR University (MMR-U) is our internal learning and development program, designed to prepare interns with the skills and knowledge needed to have a successful career at MMR. The program expands over two and a half years at the Baton Rouge campus and includes in-person instructions with hands-on lessons, virtual learning opportunities, two summers of field experience and mentorship from seasoned MMR professionals.

Learning & Development

The MMR-U curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with respected colleges and universities’ construction management, industrial engineer technology, or other related fields to offer training on specific job duties as well as any technical skills needed to excel in roles. By using a variety of learning methods and addressing a multitude of jobs, roles and issues, MMR will outperform all peers on staff growth and development. MMR-U stands out for its adaptability to accommodate our interns, allowing for additional courses and classes to be added as varying needs arise. With this dynamic program, we are confident in our ability to cultivate a workforce that excels in every aspect of our industry.

Training Center

We invest in you by providing various types of training at hire and throughout your time at MMR that contribute to achieving your personal and professional goals. Some trainings may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)
    • CPR
    • NFPA 70E
  • MMR Craft Training Center- Recognized by the NCCER as an Accredited Assessment Center and Accredited Training sponsor
    • US Department of Labor (DOL) Approved Apprenticeship Program
    • Louisiana Workforce Commission, Apprenticeship Division, Registered Program
